Health Guarantee:
You have the right to have any kid you purchase examined, by a Veterinarian, at your expense prior to pickup. If, at this pre-purchase exam the vet finds the kids to be unsound any deposits will be refunded. All goats will be thoroughly examined by seller on day of travel, and buyer is encouraged to examine each goat prior to taking possession. No goat leaves our possession showing any signs of illness. I (seller) assume no responsibility once they leave my care, as we have no control over any stress the goat may experience - due to travel, new environment, much less any control over new-owner management practices or handling. A REFUND OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE WILL BE ISSUED: IF A GOAT SOLD FOR "BREEDING PURPOSES" IS FOUND TO BE STERILE DUE TO A GENETIC REASON. We will need a report by a licensed Veterinarian stating the animal is sterile due to a 'genetic reason', along with the goat's registration certificate and a signed transfer so the goat can be re-homed for 'Pet-Only' purposes.
What's Included in Purchase Price:
All goats will be weaned, eating hay, and drinking water on their own. Each goat leaves the farm with; sales receipt, health record, disease free herd certificate, pedigree, and a completed AGS registration application or original AGS certificate & signed bill of sale/transfer. Buyer will need to pay a small fee to mail the supplied registration paperwork to the AGS to have the animals registered/transferred to their name. Goats not born polled (naturally hornless) will be disbudded (unless new owner has stated otherwise). Beginning at birth, each goat will receive Selenium/Vit E Oral Gel (switched to Replamin) once every 30 days while under our care to prevent White Muscle Disease. Each kid will be up to date CD&T shots, boosters, and will be dewormed at 8wks of age. Goats will have their hooves trimmed at a minimum of every 8wks, beginning at a month old. At time of pickup a complimentary sample of their current goat grower feed will be provided to help with their transition.
**If you want a horned goat you must notify us immediately (requires full payment down).
